- 1. 1394 costs less than $10
- 2. USB is pretty useless for "multimedia applications" such as transferring
- video oder audio data (no isochronous transfer mode)
- 3. Microsoft has claimed to support 1394 (!)
- 4. USB is not peer-to-peer
- 5. USB causes host load, 1394 devices work independently
- etc.
